a young girl claimed to have had 18 visions in Lourdes, a small town in the French Hautes-Pyrénées. Since then, the Church counted seventy miracles and made the town a prime pilgrimage destination for people seeking physical or spiritual healing. There will be miracles here documents architectures and public spaces in this mythologised territory, from a vision that voluntarily places itself on the margins of the "extraordinary". The project explores the meaning of the act of inhabiting common spaces and refers to rites and myths in a permanent state of displacement and re-actualisation.&nbsp; In an effort to deconstruct an idea of the environment that comes to us through hegemonic narratives, he questions how the terrain of the miraculous is created and delimited geographically. Only through video pieces the work approach the sanctuary slightly, showing the new forms of actualisation within religious discourse through technology and virtuality. Through the portraits of the inhabitants of Lourdes in public spaces, the work reflects on the processes of self-representation and how we establish a performative relationship with photography by placing ourselves in the scene.&nbsp; The photographic series explores the genres and languages we use to try to understand the environment. Through the images, it reflects on the processes of self-representation and how we establish a performative relationship with photography by placing ourselves in the scene. In this space, a double register is produced.&nbsp; The actions are photographed with the visitors' mobile phones while they are recorded and broadcast live from the LourdesTV webcam. &nbsp;Through the new ways of updating religious discourse through virtuality, the video invites us to think about the relations between the development of technology as a surveillance tool and the characteristics of the production and circulation of the contemporary image. Petit train touristique video installation20min 06 seg Rachel Mallarme is 19 years old, lives in Lourdes and works full time in the town's bar. The video captures her experience of boarding the small tourist train which, due to its price and route, is usually only used by tourists. Through Rachel's eyes and her reactions, the viewer is given a tour of Lourdes. While she listens to the audio guide of "Le petit train" through the headphones, the viewer can only hear the ambient sound of the village and the conversation between two tourists, a mother and a photographic exercise developed during two weeks in Ceret (France) in the artistic residency as part of the cross-border programme between the Department of the Pyrénées-Orientales and the Generalitat de Catalunya. The project is based on the concept of the border, understanding it as a time over a space, neither natural nor eternal in its meaning. The effort and catharsis of the faces that dance the sardana (catalonian folk dance) dialogue with the gestures of Katrine, who, while sacrificing some hens, narrates her experiences with the Catalan refugees during the Spanish dictatorship and sings fragments of the song "La Gallineta". Through these encounters, the project establishes links with the network of people who have collaborated with the project, reflecting on how a people are affected in terms of their lived and narrated stories. The creation of images creates its own archive of faces and gestures, decontextualising different situations experienced with the inhabitants of Ceret, straining the limits of interpretation and is a visual essay that looks at how fiction is part of the images we produce and look at. By combining photographs of family members and acquaintances with those of people and spaces unknown to the artist, she fashions a new narrative in which the limits between what is personal and what is not become blurred. This narrative, which seems to spread itself between the images, has no place. There is no marking out of the theme that would allow us to unravel the plot. This is an invitation, to whoever should enter, to rebuild or invent it. The title is an allusion to a series of possible narratives and suggests an ironic distancing from what, apparently, may seem to be an intimate diary. on the disconcerting nature of the human condition, based on the search and resignification of found images from an online platform dedicated to buying and selling second-hand products among users through the Internet. The buying and selling app becomes a huge archive where the images that inhabit it, once isolated and decontextualized, take on new meanings that tell us about origin stories, myths, surveillance, and the relationship between us and technology. The images of used objects become a photographic series that relates and diversifies their meanings by reflecting on the absurdity and depth of images outside of their original context. young girl claimed to have had 18 visions in Lourdes, a small town in the French Hautes-Pyrénées. Since then, the Church counted seventy miracles and made the town a prime pilgrimage destination for people seeking physical or spiritual healing. There will be miracles here documents architectures and public spaces in this mythologised territory, from a vision that voluntarily places itself on the margins of the "extraordinary". The project explores the meaning of the act of inhabiting common spaces and refers to rites and myths in a permanent state of displacement and re-actualisation. In an effort to deconstruct an idea of the environment that comes to us through hegemonic narratives, he questions how the terrain of the miraculous is created and delimited geographically. Only through video pieces the work approach the sanctuary slightly, showing the new forms of actualisation within religious discourse through technology and virtuality. Through the portraits of the inhabitants of Lourdes in public spaces, the work reflects on the processes of self-representation and how we establish a performative relationship with photography by placing ourselves in the scene. The photographic series explores the genres and languages we use to try to understand the environment. Through the images, it reflects on the processes of self-representation and how we establish a performative relationship with photography by placing ourselves in the scene. In this space, a double register is produced.&nbsp; The actions are photographed with the visitors' mobile phones while they are recorded and broadcast live from the LourdesTV webcam. &nbsp;Through the new ways of updating religious discourse through virtuality, the video invites us to think about the relations between the development of technology as a surveillance tool and the characteristics of the production and circulation of the contemporary image. Petit train touristique video installation20min 06 seg Rachel Mallarme is 19 years old, lives in Lourdes and works full time in the town's bar. The video captures her experience of boarding the small tourist train which, due to its price and route, is usually only used by tourists. Through Rachel's eyes and her reactions, the viewer is given a tour of Lourdes. While she listens to the audio guide of "Le petit train" through the headphones, the viewer can only hear the ambient sound of the village and the conversation between two tourists, a mother and a daughter, who ride on the front carriage behind the camera. go back
